EYCO has 9 members of which there are two types.
5 official national umbrellas:
- Fédération Française des Ecoles de cirque (France),
- Circuscentrum (Belgium Flemish), BAG Zirkuspädagogik,
- Finnish Youth Circus Association (Finland),
- Circomundo (Netherlands).
4 members of countries who are in the process of looking into forming a national umbrella: Spain, Italy, UK and Belgium (for the French speaking community).
Within these 9 members there are 307 schools/groups/organisations, which are part of a national umbrella that is a member of EYCO:
- France: 130,
- Belgium Flemish: 19,
- Germany: 115,
- Finland: 34,
- Netherlands: 34.
Potentially for future umbrellas 163 schools/groups/organisations i.e.: Spain: 15, Italy: 50, UK: 80+ and Belgium (French speaking community): 18. It has 1 870 teachers, who work in a school which is part of a national umbrella that is a member of EYCO: France: 800 teachers, Belgium Flemish: 130, Germany: 720, Finland: 70, Netherlands: 150. Potentially for future umbrellas: Spain: unknown, Italy: 200, UK: T.b.a. and Belgium (French speaking community): 130. It has 512 000 people, who practice circus arts in a school which is part of a national umbrella that is a member of EYCO: France: 300 000, Belgium Flemish: 4 000, Germany: 200 000, Finland: 3 000, Netherlands: 5 000 members. Potentially for future umbrellas: Spain: unknown, Italy: 20 000, UK: 5 000 and Belgium (French speaking community): 2 700.
