11 EYCO members collaborated in the Erasmus+ funded project Assistant trainers sharing knowledge (ASK). The project has now ended after a project period of two year in 2018-2020. All the project results can be found in the EYCO Resource center – take a look!
In the ASK project three types of outputs were created: a curriculum for an assistant trainer training (available in English as an pdf), videos for assistant trainers and a booklet for circus schools on on how to work with assistant trainers. The guidebook for circus schools can be found in 10 different languages: English, Estonian, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Slovenian and Spanish.
All the materials are done in cooperation with the participants of the five masterclasses arranged in the project. The process was lead by three facilitators: Lynn Carroll (UK), Steven Desanghere (BE) and Petra Päivärinne (FI).
The ASK project was coordinated by The Finnish Youth Circus Association and other partners were Estonian Contemporary Circus Development Centre (Estonia), Fundacja Miasto Projekt (Poland), Circuscentrum (Belgium), Giocolieri e Dintorni (Italy), Circomundo (Netherlands), FEECSE (Spain), FFEC (France), CircusWorks (UK), BAG-Zirkuspädagogik (Germany) and Cirkokrog (Slovenia). For more information on the ASK project, see the ASK project presentation.
