Lynn Carroll is an internationally renowned expert in circus and education. Throughout her career she has performed globally as a multi-disciplined circus artist with some of the most pioneering and acclaimed contemporary circus companies of the time, as well as being at the forefront of developing the UK youth circus sector for nearly 40 years.

Ruth Schleicher is currently teaching physical education and pedagogy in the adult education sector and working as a consultant for movement development for the ministry of education. As pedagogical and artistic director of Circus KAOS and Zirkusakademie Wien she has created a platform where youth work and adult education can share experiences and constantly develop further. Together with Tilmann Schleicher she has developed the core curricula for the education programs in circus pedagogy and circus arts at the Zirkusakademie Wien. Furthermore she is a founding member and now chairwoman of „Österreichischer BundesVerband für Zirkuspädagogik – ÖBVZ“. There she has implemented the working group “circus pedagogy” in order to develop and specify pedagogical definitions and standards on circus pedagogy in Austria.

Teacher for German, sports and circus-theatre at comprehensive schools in Lower Saxony from 1974 to 2016. Founder of Circus Fantasia at the comprehensive school in Fürstenau in 1986. Since 2000 in Hanover and founder of CircO Hanover in cooperation with a school and the city of Hanover. Today it is a school with about 1000 children and young people in regular programmes. Since 2005 on the board of the national network BAG Zirkuspädagogik.
